Service Description
The DriveX Essential 12 EDT program is a comprehensive training package that meets all requirements of Ireland’s Essential Driver Training (EDT) program as set out by the Road Safety Authority (RSA). This 12-lesson course is designed for learner drivers in Ennis, Tulla, Quin, Shannon, and Limerick City to gain the core skills needed to drive confidently, safely, and independently on Irish roads. Each lesson in the EDT program focuses on a critical area, from car control and hazard perception to defensive driving and road safety awareness. DriveX’s structured lessons ensure you meet RSA standards while preparing for the driving test with ease. Whether you're a beginner or refreshing your skills, our tailored approach gives you the practical experience and guidance needed to succeed. DriveX’s EDT course is led by certified instructors who provide one-on-one support in each session across our key locations. To make learning more affordable, DriveX Essential 12 EDT can be purchased in packages to reduce the cost, allowing students to save on multiple lessons while progressing smoothly through the RSA’s Essential Driver Training requirements. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: We understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may arise, requiring you to cancel or reschedule your driving lesson. However, to ensure fairness and maximize our instructors' time, we have established the following cancellation policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson, you must notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee equal to the cost of the lesson. If you are unable to attend a lesson due to illness, injury, or emergency, please notify us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to reschedule your lesson at no additional charge. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled lesson, the lesson may be cancelled, and you may be charged a cancellation fee. LWays Driving Academy reserves the right to cancel a lesson due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If this happens, we will make every effort to reschedule the lesson at no additional charge. Refunds will not be issued for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance, except in cases of illness, injury, or emergency. Refunds may be subject to an administrative fee. Students who repeatedly cancel or reschedule lessons may be subject to additional fees or limitations on scheduling. All fees and policies are subject to change without notice. By enrolling in our driving program, you agree to the terms of this cancellation policy. Please notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
